SAPs - Without Snails for awhile?

I am in the process of letting my snails reproduce, as all of them are too big for these young SAPs to eat. What else could I feed it occasionally for a few weeks to grind up their teeth that I could fairly easily get? Shrimp tails?

They are loving frozen bloodworms.. not seeming to take freeze dried tubifex worms. I have some freeze dried plankton and krill coming in the mail. I have read the feeding suggestions.. but just curious if I could feed them something semi-hard to hold them over for 2 weeks or so.

I think shell-on shrimp would be good. Maybe try some crab legs, or live crayfish/ crabs.

could probably crush up small clams or similar so theyd have to srot through the shell and tear the meat off of the hard shell as well.
