Arcadia overtank lighting

Hello all!

Does ANYONE have the Arcadia Overtank Luminaire with T8 Lamps? I love the style of these new lamps and am seriously thinking about buying one. However, I am not willing to spend the extra cash until I know that they are any good. I have checked several good pet shops, but none of them stock the lamps; they can only order them for me.

Q. Do you have one or know someone who owns one?
Q. If yes, are they any good, i.e. good enough to grow plants?
Q. Is there a similar style of overhead lamp that is a little bit cheaper?
Q. How true is it that puffers (spec. fig jump, cos I would like to keep my tank open top.

I know this is probably not a patch on the light set up that you are talking about but I bought this on E Bay for my tank. It was VERY reasonable and I was really happy with it

My Figure 8s jumped out even with a canopy. They jumped out the space for cables, luckily they are fine now. I would not recommend having an open top although it is a nice idea.
