I've seen lots of info on raising the SG to brackish but can anyone tell me what the SG should be for full Marine as I am going to have to eventually raise to full Marine in my Ceylon tank, so I believe?? ....thanks
"Full marine" is the same as the salinity in the oceans. This averages around 35ppt - which equates to a specific gravity of 1.026 - 1.027 at tropical temperatures.
Many people choose to keep their tanks at a lower salinity to guard against depleted oxygen levels, but I don't.
