72 UK Gallon Tank ideas

Hi All,
just bought myself a 72 UK G Aquarium.
But... i dont know what to put in it :?

I really like GSP's and thought i could manage a Brackish set up, but after reading through the forum i have noticed that they eventually need a full saltwater set up. What extra cost/equipment is needed?

An alternative is Dwarf puffers, they look similar (well to me they do) but are tiny. just worried that in a 72G tank i may never see them. But i do like the idea that i may get away with some other type of tank mates.

I also read somewhere that DP's require a complex current?

So please throw some ideas my way.

Oh and before i forget, when cycling my tank does the heater need to be on?

You could a couple of F8s, they stay in light brackish. Not sure what else is available over there, seems there are quite a few that we don't have over here.

You could also go for a couple of Ceylon puffers. They require full marine as adults.
Whats the point of a signature?!

I'm not sure if my bank account will stretch to a full marine set-up, hence the reason for me looking at others from GSP's.
F8's look quite nice though, would i only be able to have 2?

What kind of substrate and decoration do puffers like?

You could have more than 2 F8s. You could have up to 6 F8s in a tank that size.
Whats the point of a signature?!

72UK would be 86 US
If you stayed at 15g per F8, in theory the tank could hold 5 with some space spare. If you went with 10g for each additional F8 then in theory it would hold a few more. The more space each one has the better to minimize any potential aggression between them. Still a school of F8's would be a nice sight in a tank.

5 seems a good number!

How much would 5 F8 puffers eat? maybe i should be askin this now in the Brackish section?
