Well I went to my favorite lfs today and they had a "fugu" puffer setup. There were about 8 or so in a 20 gallon and all looked extrememly healthy and happy...mayn didnt not even swim to the back when I got close. Here is a picture.

This interests me if it is truely a freshwater fish (I saw in the pufferpedia it was under marine)(these looked a million times better than the ones I have seen in marine conditions)

They don't do well in captivity unfortunately. Beautiful fish though.

The distributor we use at the LFS I work for markets these as freshwater as well. It really irks me. I just wish I had the gaul to call them. I'm concerned about the repercussions, whether they would purposely send us fish in questionable health.
