Noticed that the female turns lighter than the male at this stage.
Mine almost turned white!

Found this picture of the courting. At this point in the courting my female is as white as I have ever seen her. But she still has lots of gray and brown spots.
The males “arrow” is lighter than his body color. The females “arrow” are white, but you can’t see it on this picture.
