Question concerning Green Spotted Pufferfish

Hi there my name is Sarah I am new to forums, I just got some new Green Spotted Puffer fish today. I don't really know too much about puffers since this pair is my first ones. My question is can these fish get along with more then one of them to a tank?
Since I don't know much about puffers I have been doing a bit of research (and obviously that's how I came across this site) and most of the sites I saw said that they are meat eating fish and are known to be tail biters. But I never saw anything sawing if you put more then one to a tank how they will do, I have been trying to observe their behavior to see if I should separate the two or leave them as is. What concerns me is one of them fairly bigger then the other and I don't want it to over power the smaller one and not let it be able to eat.
He is not extremely aggressive towards the little one from what I have seen he will just float over and lightly tap him a little. But what is odd is he will do this a few times and then other times we will look right at the other one..or swim right past him and not do a thing. I figured since the two were in the same tank and had been for quite a while..that they would be just fine since they were used to each other in the first place. If anyone has any advise on what I can do further it would be much appreciated.

They can get along if you have a tank large enough for them (30 gallons per GSP). Since you are mixing afew GSPs, you might want to get a tank with about 10 +/- gallons extra so they have a bit more swimming space.

Welcome, and each GSP is different, my first one would not allow any tankmates..in fact it killed a fish or two of mine. The one I have know is like a lab...it gets along and even plays with the other fish...and is much bigger than the previous one.

Well from what I have seen I haven't seen the big one do anything to the smaller one in a few days and they seem to be both eating fine. I put in some kind of shrimp food but they never did go near it..but they did eat flake food. The tank I have is a 2 gallon..I know fairly small..but with my tiny house and not much space outside of other random crap..I have no idea where I could put shrimp like a 10 gallon one. The two seem to get a long fair enough..I think I am just going to make sure..that when I find them that they both do get food. If they don't then I just might have to consider getting a bigger tank..lol which probably means looking for one at a yard sale.
But anyway thanks to all for the advise, I will try to take some pictures of new little cuties so that I can show them off a bit. ^_^

I have a feeling that tank hasn't been cycled? Putting 2 GSPs in a 2g tank, cycled or not, is a sure death for both. Please, please, please, either return them or get at least a 20g tank (to be upgraded to at least a 55g, as they grow to 6"). Read that article you were linked to above.

I'm sure everyone will agree with Pufferpunk, and I am no exception. If you can't upgrade their tank immediately (in the next day), please return them to the store. They will be better off in the store's larger, cycle tank. I'm afraid they will only last a day or two in the tank.
