Great pics. An egg yolk solution makes a great fry food. So does mosquito larva but it may be too late in the season to set up a bucket for routine collections.
Community fish are always welcome. Mine do need to eat.

I think getting enough right food that the fry will eat is the biggest challenge in raising Suvattii fry. I made a small video showing how I now can feed frozen red mosquito larva. Hope it can give some inspiration. The fry on the video is 49 days old.

A comment: black and read live mosquito larva is very welcome among my fry. The egg yolk I don’t think will work directly, because the fry seems to like “live and moving” food. I have used some time to get the fry to eat frozen food. And they still don’t eat anything.
Unfortunately I have lost some of my fry. I do not know why. I can only blame the water change at this present time as all were feeding well. I am gutted but determined to raise the remainder.

I’m sorry to hear that. Can you see if the fry has been bidden? (I did observe some harmful behavior among the fry from very early on). How many is left?
I know it is not of any help, but when the parents first have a good place to lay the eggs, they seems to just keep on going, so I will guess you soon have new fry.
This is where my experience differs from that of DR Ebert. He states that after only a week they are onto bigger foods like bloodworm.

Maybe UK bloodworms are too big for the little ones and as long as they are doing well on what they do eat they'll grow on to bigger things eventually ...

It's a shame as I know you have so much vested in them.... however the fry fare, you can be confident that you were doing all you could for them.
They're so cute ... and huge compared to earlier!
