i found something somewhere posted by someone :shock:


this person had 3 irrubescos in a 20 gallon tank... apparently with no problems and perfectly happy fish...


im ordering 2 for my 15 gallon...a male and a female

I would have thought it should work with a good water change regime. 15 UK is 18US gallons so its just under the recommended 20G for 2 Irrubesco's

I could be wrong though.

They are best kept in pairs, according to Dr Ebert.

its 15 US gallons........58 litres

but im sure itll be cool anyway...theres loads of room and lots of places to hide and alot of stuff to break lines of sight

they are being delivered today, they have been in a tank together for ages

but...iv got a dwarf in the tank...apparantly maybe not a problem, but i have a 2 gallon standing by incase
