This tank is in my "office" at home where I spend my day writing, so I want something engaging. My SAPs don't seem to cut it: they have no interest in me except at feeding time, and their energetic swimming isn't very calming.
So I'd like to swap out the community fish in that tank for some kind of cool puffer. The only restriction is it needs to be a freshwater species that is compatible with a venerable Panaque armoured catfish that I've had for 11 years and can't bear to pass on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think the T palembangensis are the coolest! Have you scanned the http://www.pufferlist.com? I kept an A modestus in a 50g & he appreciated the room & investigated the whole tank. Definately not a lurker.
