what size did u buy ur F8's?

what sort of salinity should i aim for roughly? 1.010? as i know they wouldn't mind fluctuations too much

You should aim for an SG of 1.005 to 1.008, they do best in low end brackish.

oh, i was going to aim for 1.010-1.014

least i know that i can use about half the amount of salt

well i'd probably be able to "borrow" the salt from a mate who has a lot of marine tanks, if you know what i mean

oh and just to make sure i can do water changes with salted, de-chlorinated tap water can't i as my nitrates are only 3ppm

They were not more that 1.5" I keep them in 1.005-1.006

My two were in the shop at Â£3.99, although I was only charged Â£5.98 - think that was an error though!

They were about an inch long and, although I would've preferred them smaller, they were in an excellent condition.

I would say Â£8 is a lot but if they are in good condition then I wouldn't hesitate. I'd rather that than pay a couple of quid for a puffer that has been fed-upon during transportation!

well the Â£8 ones are kept in a breeding trap floating in a tank of dwarf gourami (freshwater) and most of that shops fish are poor quality

Do you have any maidenhead aquatics stores near you. Most of them are good. That's where I got mine from.
