How long should it take. the puff was in freshwater but i do not have any fw tank right now...I got a free gsp from a forum member in alberta (guess better me than the LFS).
I am leaving on Monday and today is friday...i will get the puff tonight...do u think if I tie a knot in the airline tubing and let it drip really slow for a day or so that the puff would be okay...lets say put the puff in a rubbermaid container with minimal fw and let it drip acclimatize...am i do more harm that good??? I have at least two full days and some of Monday...
thx...
js
p.s. the gsp is at least 3 inches ...maybe more.

I have dripped from FW-BW & BW-SW but I think it'll be too stressfull from FW-SW, no matter how long you take. Don't you want to QT the fish 1st?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

So I drip acclimatize the gsp for one and half day...it was soooo slow...I had no choice but to put him in marine because i was leaving right away.
ANyways...he is doing great...eats like a pig and very green and white. his sunken belly is now a fat belly...well fatter...pretty sure no parasite.
I know that was not the proper way but i was desperate. I will make sure i have tanks ready next time.
thanks pp...js
EDIT...the gsp was one inch long maybe less...not three that i thought i was gonna be.
