I renamed my A.modestus "Piglet" (because he eats so much, and "Pooh" (because, well, can't have a Piglet without a Pooh!).
Tina

My first GSP (may he rest in peace) was Kismet, after a robot built at some university that was designed to display human emotions. Looked an awful lot like a puffer face!
Second GSP (who did not last long. We didn't know nearly enough about puffs at the time) was Psyche, because she had psychedelic patterns on her back.
Fig8 was named Newton (fig newton...). He lived happily until we had to return him to the store when we moved out of state.
Current irrubesco: Alaska (after Alaska Airlines. Red-eye flights...)
Dwarf Gourami: Norvin
Pygmy Cories: Tall, Grande, and Venti
Bristlenise pleco: Sideshow
Platties: Polly, Penny, and Parcival.
Neons: Neons. Can't tell 'em apart.

I have, right now, 6 gsps, 3 really really big ones -- Titan, Hercules and Roxie, and 3 small guys -- Gooch, Petra (named after a uni-brow chick I knew cuz this gsp has a unibrow spot), and Quatro (due to four perfectly placed spots down it's back.
I also have had 3 fahakas, Tut, Jezzabell, and Baby
Other names have been Popeye (for a REAL bug eyed gsp), Dot, Sunshine, walrus (this gsp was covered in tiny spots on its face, looked like it stood at a screen door in a walrus!), Diablo, Grandpa, Weiner, and on and on!
I always name my puffers, they all have way too much personality to not name them. Oh yeah, I have a big pleco named Hoover.
