Okay, I think I've spoiled my SAP and dwarves by breeding snails for them. They turn their noses up at everything else now, even bloodworms! Even if I fast them for a day or two. I don't really want to go with live cultures, so I'm trying to stick to snails and frozen food...
I know a varied diet is important, any suggestions here? Maybe I could try that garlic stuff...

I confess that I intentionally spoil some puffers - my mbu, the GSPs, two of three Fahankas, and currently my Palembang's have all been spoiled to large-forcep feedings. Food is delivered by long shiny metal things and is never associated with human fingers. Any big puff I will spoil to protect myself.
It also means that alternate foods are better accepted as food when everthing edible is served the same way.
