Salt levels for full grown F8?

I'd love to have a couple. There were some gorgeous ones at the LFS a couple weeks ago. Very healthy looking and excellent colour. Alas, the SO won't allow another tank.

I think it would be different if I were the girl.. then I could just get upset and get my way, or put on the pouty face and get my way, or.... you get the picture

My pouty face is damn cute, but it doesn't seem to have the same effect...

Hehe, she's actually really good about the tanks. She has her own 10g with platies (even though I basically take care of it most of the time), and we got her mom a dwarf puffer, and she loves my GSP, AND we're thinking about getting a 30g cube to replace the 10g. so all in all, it's pretty good. She just keeps me from going crazy and getting WAY too many tanks. :p

I am glad you (someone) said this...I was thinking the same thing, but the comment didn't seem PC...

That's cool Phaedrus, perhaps having a 'voice of reason' is a good thing!

As for the girl bit, while I may have a cool pouty face, I rarely use it. He just knows how stubborn I am, and that I sincerely would laugh if he attempted to tell me how to spend my money. That said, if I was shirking other financial obligations....

I don't think that I ever had more tha about a dozen and a half at one time, but for >20 years, i was never without F-8s.
