Filter Type Question?

Well is all Irrelevant at the moment as i cant seem to buy any figure 8 puffers for love nor money at the moment. All the LFS cant get any.

Do they come in and out of season?

The quantity of puffers is all reliant on the 'harvest' location. If none are caught then none are sold to the wholesalers, which in the end means LFS can't order them. I highly doubt there is a season for puffs, but there are a few times that wholesalers cannot get them.

Well the LFS has said call back on tuesday as an order is placed on friday and they will not know if they get them until then. They said they have not been able to get them for about 10 weeks now!!!

I guess i will have to wait and in the mean time my tank will be well cycled by then!

Not too relevant, but I see aquaclears were mentioned. They're the only filters I use, not that I have tried many types but I like them a lot. They beat the heck out of some old cascade HOBs I have lying around.

Heh, cascades... Those things come in handy for small tanks, nothing more.
