Don't they realize that mantis shrimp are marine shrimp that get about 2 feet and can break tank glass? And they think a DP could take one on... HAH! That would be the most pathetic match. Either the DP would die from being in salt, or the mantis dying from being in fresh... And they say we are the 'internet know it alls.'

You can supplement feed bloodworms or live black worms if needed, but in a healthy planted aquarium, they'll find plenty of things to feast on their own.

Also they think they can find food on their own in a planted aquarium so extra food isn't really needed... Yeah gravel is SOOO healthy for them....

They won't harm your Amano shrimp because their mouths are just too tiny.

Yes, puffers are known to be in brackish water but these fellas are fine without the heavy salt just move them to brackish for spawning.

I hope they were being sarcastic . I feel bad if anyone buys a dwarf puffer thinking the PH is neutral and the thing dies of PH of like 6.5-7.5.

DP's do live in neutral tanks. IME I have had them in PH from between 6.5 to 8 with no problems PH ranges due to CO2 injection.

. My uncle who used to have many DP's had a tank that he forgot to check and all the little guys died in about a day and a half (3 in a 20g). We checked the PH and it was 6.5. I always figured that was the reason. thanks for the correction Tihsho.

Uh, hopefully thats just what it looks like in the pic, not the tank. Adjust the macro setting if its a digital camera, it will help clear up the picture. Also adjust the shutter speed.

ADFs: " It is hard to sex them, but usually the females are larger than the males." Actually, its quite easy to sex them. Males usually have a whiteish bump in their armpits, females don't.

They push those stupid, tiny, hex bowls with bamboo to keep bettas in, too. Can't hold more than 2 cups of water in those stupid things and there's not much room for the fish to breathe, much less move around in. But its a "fantastic gift idea!"

Wow, learn something new everyday. I had no idea Red Terror cichlids were timid critters, frontosas are gentle and tolerant, etc. But I think the one statement that bothers me the most is the one in many of the descriptions "__ inches depending on tank size." Cuz we all know that fish only grow to their tank size, right?
