Amazon puffers color

Hello I am new to owning freshwater puffers. I have 6 Amazon puffers in a 36 gallon tank. Nitrates are below 40ppm, nitrite at 0ppm, ammonia is less than 5ppm, ph is at 7.8. 5 of them have full colors and the black almost blends in with the yellow. Is there a way to make their color to become more vibrant? I have one really bright colored one and the rest dull. I am feeding them blood worms at the moment. Please let me know thanks.

Ammonia should ALWAYS be 0. What test kits are you using?

It would help if you fed them a diet of 90% snails or you're going to do a lot of teeth-trimming.

I tried giving them bladder snails but they just suck them out of the shell is there a better way of doing it?
