Hi
I've set up a new tank ready for a Miurus (potato) puffer. But, I've discovered that the PH of the tank is a steady 9.
I've traced this back to the tap water which comes out at 7.5 but after being left (I left it in a glass to check it wasnt the substrate in the tank) it increase to 9. I gather this may be due to CO2 degassing.
So, my question is, is a PH of 9 OK for a Miurus?
Thanks
PH for Miurus

As long as its stable you're fine.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
