SAP faded colors

Post by Piddlin »

We picked up 6 SAP 6 days ago. Took a couple days to eat, but they did take to frozen bloodworms after that. 3 days ago, I thawed the bloodworms, mixed with API General Cure, Seachem Focus and garlic. Then refroze into cubes. The medicine / bloodworm mixture has been fed once a day, with other offerings in the evenings (still curious about snails). Today we noticed all of their colors have faded quite a bit. They act and eat fine (still glass surfing though). Water is 0,0,5 and has been every time we’ve checked, since they’ve been in the tank. I did add a second Fluval Plant 3.0 light yesterday. Is the fading something to be concerned about? Or is it just the treatment or extra light? 75 gal, Fluval FX4, wavemaker, planted. Thanks

What are you treating for? That's a whole lot of different meds at once!

Mostly treating for parasites. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought general cure was the medicine, focus for binding to the food and the garlic for taste.
