Hello!
I am in the process of prepping for a planted pea puffer tank and working on getting a blackworms culture set up while I wait for everything else to be ready.
I am trying to figure out what size culture and growth rate I will need to have, I plan to have about 12 puffers and will feed them other foods as well but blackworms will be the primary source.
Those that feed blackworms/similar sized worms... How much are we talking per day? Just so I can get an idea of what size of sustainable culture I need to shoot for.
I started with 2oz of worms which seems way low, have another 12 oz on the way and with that I should be able to replenish 1-2 (1-2000 worms) oz a month from growth/reproduction. Seem reasonable? That's like 5ish worms per day per fish?
Thanks!!

That sounds about right. You could also offer to sell off any extra to fellow aquarium keepers.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Great thanks! Just wanting to make sure I wasn't undershooting by a ton. Never kept them before and trying to get things prepped to do it right
