i have this idea in my head I'm starting a SA puffer tank and I'm thinking of creating a type of false floor to create hiding space i was thinking like 4 puffers and i would have slate and use epoxy to make 5 good sized compartments then cover with a large piece of slate and make openings so they have places to hide also I'm going to put bog wood and rocks and potted plants here is where i have trouble thinking of what to go with i want to have sand in there but cleaning is a problem i would do it but it would fill in the holes so i was thinking a light sprinkle about a quarter of an inch to a half an inch but I'm not sure any ideas
the diferance between obsetion and addiction is willingnes to do it right

IME, if you set sand in particular but in reality any sustrate where it cannot be easily maintained, you are shooting yiurself in the foot.
