Dwarf Puffer question

Hello!
I've had my 2 dwarf puffers for about 2 weeks in a cycled, heavy planted 10G tank, with some ghost shrimp and a mystery snail. I had 2 questions about them, 1, My female chases my mail every time they see each other, the female chases the male, and he's always hiding now! Water conditions are perfect, 0 nitrites, 0 ammonia, and 10 nitrates. 2, How do I get them to come out when it's time to feed? The female doesn't really hide, but she kinda stays in the back and explores, and as said before, the male just hides now. Is there any way I can get them to come out the open in the front of the tank to eat? Thanks!

They will soon come to the front for food. How much decor is in the tank? They each need a suitable hidey hole to call their own. You might soon find this reverses, you would be better off with 2 females as the male will soon start chasing the female

I have 2 chichlid stones in there, one on either side of the tank for each of them, as for the decor, it's literally like a forest. I can barely ever find the little guys! Thanks for the reply, I'll have to look into trading the male for a female.

That setup's good for two females. If you want to keep the male, you can just add one more hiding spot and a few plants, so that the puffers rarely see each other and they should be fine.

A male will still likely find the female to harass. Best to swap the male for a female imo
