1) Your water parameters - Cycled TAnk, will test parameters again tomorrow
2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything. We need to know what you have and how big the tank is.
- 25 gallon growout, will move to a 75 gallon soon.
3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
Feeding - Twice a day. 75% fresh defrosted krill from the market. 20% bloodworms. Rest is cockle or market prawn tail (with meat.).
He eats mostly krill and bloodworms, I think it's because it's easier for him. He just nips at the opened defrosted cockle and the shrimp tail. After 2-4 nips he's done. So I give him more of the krill and bw.
Water Change - 30-50% every 2 days since he's in a small tank. I use Prime as a dechlor.
4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
I put in a piece of driftwood and those anubias. But then again the little guy has only been with me 2 weeks.
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.
It's been cycled for a while, 8 months?
He seems to be always hungry, other than the fact that he only nips at cockle and prawn he's eating ok. Just worried about the stringy poop. Also I bought http://www.aquarium-munster.com/en/fres ... tymor.html
It's a 20ml solution, 1ml is 40mg of paraziquantel. How should I use this? I already read the link on the puffer forum for treatment of IP. It says 23mg/ 1lb of body weight. He's only 2 inches XD I think soaking the food would overdose him.
Cheers,
Leon
