the power is tan, the cloudyness is white. walls around the tank is covered in a wood paneling.

Mebe a problem with termites then :15:
Hrm, do you have any live plants cause the only times I have seen silt build up in a tank is from not trimming dead/dying leaves off of plants.

Have you tried using purigen?

Try pro clear, if it is organics in your water it will clot it all together so the filter can take it out easier.

Other then that micron pads should help tons.
