Dwarf Puffer tank setup?

Post by asawyer98 »

Hi guys! Tomorrow I am purchasing my first dwarf puffer, but first I wanted to make sure my tank setup was ok as this is my first puffer!

I have a 5 gallon tank
80 degrees Fahrenheit
pH of 7.0
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0

How was this tank cycled? If it is cycled properly, you should be seeing some nitrate.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Yes. Please let us know how long the tank has been running. How it was cycled. And make sure to test for nitrite as well. As PP stated the tank should show some nitrate if its cycled.
