Where good snails go to die

Schmendrick has been helping me with my recent surge in mystery snails. I had over 70 hatch between 2 clutches so he has been on an almost all snail diet for a few weeks. He doesn't seem to mind but I did do bloodworms a few times just to change it up a bit :)

I lucked out really - he was owned by an employee at my lfs who had 2. He wanted a male and female but they both seemed to be females so he sold this one to me. Of course he really turned out to be a male. I offered him back to the lfs guy because I felt bad but he had given the other one away too because he wasn't able to acquire another and lost interest. I've yet to see another red-eye in any of the pet stores I visit, usually they only have f8's, sometimes DP's and the occasional fahaka so I really lucked out. Put of all my fish he is definitely my fav!

Cool, the same thing happened when I got my red congo puffer. For the first time in 2 years my LFS got one in, so I bought it.
