Breeding snails in a hob filter?

Post by simko »

Hi everyone

im curious about getting one or two pea puffers. i am looking to get a 55 gallon tank, and was hoping to house a puffer or two with some other fish. My question is, has anyone bred snails ina hob filter? I have a canister (eheim 2215) that i was planning on using in this tank, and additionally having an aquaclear 110 set up as a hob refugium. has anyone bred snails like that?

Mine have bread inside my filter but not on purpose. I don't see why you couldn't use one for that.
