Hello everyone. I have a few questions about my new(ish) dwarf puffer tank.
First, how long should i leave the light on? I have a device that tuns it on and off automatically and right now I have it turn on 8 a.m. and turn off at 8 p.m.
Second, I have two puffers and one of them has a sunken belly. I feed them thawed blood worms every other day ( and occasionally some frozen brine shrimp ) and after she eats her stomach is round but on the days she doesn't eat her stomach looks like she's sucking it in. At first I thought she was just underfed but now I've had her for 2 weeks and I don't see a difference. She is acting perfectly normal, poop is normal, swimming around normally. Does it sound like she has ip?

I'd treat for IPs, definitely. Follow the link Pufferpunk provided for details on how to do it.
As for lights, I don't think that dwarf puffers mind much how long you keep the lights on, and if you have live plants that's a good cycle. But if you don't have live plants, you might end up growing a nice crop of algae with the lights on that long.
