Introducing new Puffers

I recently lost Chompers one of my two GSPs. Maria, his tankmate, looks so lonely in her tank. I know that SHE doesn't care so much about getting more friends, but I was thinking about getting two more. Does anyone have experience introducing new GSPs? I've had Maria about 6 years.

It's touch and go with puffers. She may come round and be ok on her own, most puffers prefer it

+1 to PPs remark, unless you have over 120 gallons three GSPs in a single tank is going to be alot. I haven't personally done puffers so I will give you advice based on other semi-aggressive fish I have introduced to an established tank. Only introduce full grown adult specimens into a tank with an existing adult specimen, so if you want to get two more, you are going to need to find two full grown GSPs someone is getting rid of. After the new specimens have done time in the Quarantine tank, partition your existing tank with a piece of clear acrylic and introduce the new specimens in the partition opposite your existing fish. Observe for at least a month, and if you feel the new arrangement will work remove Acrylic. For me the benefit of introducing new specimens has rarely been worth the amount of effort and money involved with introducing adult specimens into an established tank.

Yup, that's why I asked. I thought I was a pot a while back that thi was a 55g. Better to just keep the 1 in there, if so. If you get it up to SW, you could possibly add a few fast-moving tank mates or a tomato clownfish.
