New 8G Tank
New 8G Tank
So I started cycling this tank with hopes of keeping shrimp in it, then a couple of days ago a little snail outbreak started to occur which made me think of getting dwarf puffers instead. I always did want puffers so I see this outbreak as a sign that this is the tank to do so
. Just wondering how I should go about stocking the tank now though. Is it possible to keep two Dwarf Puffers in an 8G I know the males are usually more aggressive so I would try my best to get females. Also is there anything else I can stock with it like just an oto or two?

2 females might work. No other fish though & lots of plants.

Guessing it's going to need more plants than this? Any suggestions on plants puffers enjoy?

Re: New 8G Tank
Last question for now sorry if it seem's like a lot just like to make sure I have all my research done before I do anything really especially when it involves a living creature. How should I go about feeding them I already have blood worms and brine shrimp because I feed them to my other fish and this of course is what the puffer's will be fed. How often should I feed and how should I go about feeding? Should worms and shrimp be used as a treat every so often with snails as a main diet or vice versa? Also do you think a cone feeder would be a good investment just as an easier way to feed and make less mess?

I only use a cone feeder for live worms. I personally only feed live black worms with the occasional snail.
