Isn't that the truth! My LSF has 2 T. suvattii that are doing well together, a nice young fahka, and a bunch of the smallest, cutest F8s I've ever seen. If I didn't already have tanks everywhere, I'd buy up the lot!

(They also have a nice crop of GSPs, DPs, and a pretty congo... and that's just the fresh/brackish puffers! All this temptation is pushing my self control to the limits!)

Oh man, ain't he the ugliest creature on the planet.
Tried to take a decent picture, but he plays hard to get...

Physical description:

Approx 5".
Bluish grey as overall colour.
Smallish red eyes.
Small orange spots here and there.
Not much "hair".

Very active at the time, but that might be stress...
Although; seems to enjoy the rather strong current in his 42 gallon tank.

I got one from my LFS a couple of days back. Took me sometime to ID it.

I just (half an hour ago) saw two hairy puffers. $45 USD each! Is that a good price to buy? Both of them are slightly over 2" long including tail.

Looks very healthy. These are the times I wished I had a camera phone...

Btw, me living in Singapore.

Cichlid Forever. I am not going to buy, was just wondering if the price is fair. They are quite healthy except for a few little dots on their fins which I suspect is ich. Very cute. My husband will not let me buy 'cos I already have 3 ceylon puffers and a fahaka.
