I will be looking at houses for the next couple years. And one of the first things I will be doing before I make an offer is calling in a structural enigeer to indentify the cost of making the 1st floor support 20k+ pounds. I dont plan on having a 4000liter tank (~1000gallon) tank but a couple 500gallon+ tanks and a plethora of sub 200 gallon tanks. Lot of planing and designing involved but the end result should be worth it.

As long the the correct ventilation and construction materials were used you shouldnt have a mold problem. But thats not always the case and would make for an expensive overhual. I can see the hesitation.
