Poll / Best personality - Puffer vs. Cichlid
Well this topic is going to be controversial but in your opinion what fish has the best personality?
I like the polls because more of you folks seem to get involved. Lets hear what you think!

Re: Poll / Best personality - Puffer vs. Cichlid
I've never kept Cichlids before so I'm being biased in saying puffers have the best personality. But I have read a lot of threads from people that have kept cichlids for years and then getting a puffer and being blown away by how interactive puffers are.

Re: Poll / Best personality - Puffer vs. Cichlid
Well, Ive never kept puffers before so I voted cichlid. I have had some really great ones over the years with my current favorite being my big Pearsei named Porkchop. Reminds me of a puppy that greets me when I come home from work. I do have my first puffer coming this week (Hairy) so my thoughts may change. I will say that my first encounter with a Fahaka in the store did amaze me. The little thing totally interacted with me and tried to bite me through the glass.

I hope you've ordered plastic forceps

Re: Poll / Best personality - Puffer vs. Cichlid
I've thinking about this since you posted I can't decide. Just today I've seen personality from both types of fish.
Oscars- one wanted me to feed him, but I kept ignoring him...so he head butted the lid to make his bag of pellets fall off and hit the floor....he even waited til I was looking at him.
Gsps - had a total freak put when I removed thier green colored plants. Wouldn't turn white til I put them back in. They did not care when I moved the other plants.
Texas - has decided she is gonna lay eggs and has excavated sand down to the glass bottom...making a pit.

I do need to pick up some feeding tongs. I was going to do earthworms at first and then I have access to some baby fish fry from a friend.Stratters wrote: On your head/hand be it

Is this a troll poll that backfired?
I will let the folks take a guess at who is winning by a landslide.
WARNING: Puffers are mischievous little blimps with enchanting powers. You may not be content with having just one.
