I have a 5 gallon that is breeding pond snails and I can get ramshorns. What size tank do you suggest? Can they be happy living alone? If not how many puffers?
Is there another variety of dwarf puffer that can live peacefully with other fish that is easier to find? I have a 29 gallon gallon betta sororoty (all female planted tank) I also keep male bettas but they mostly are in 5 gallons. So I am not completely new to fishkeeping just new to puffers. I see brackish ones at Walmart and think they so cute and interactive (like my bettas are!) However, I don't think I could keep brackish ones.
New want to get ready to have Dwarf Pea puffer any tips?

Hi and welcome, dwarf puffers will live with each other as long as you only keep one male per group, females are less volatile. No puffer belongs in a community tank full stop. Allow a minimum of 5 g per puffer and territories can easily be set to further reduce aggression.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
