I would think that 180 gallons for 2 puffers that max out around 10 inches is more than enough space. How long has your tank been running?

GLG, have you ever kept 2 marine puffers together for any period of time??? We don't suggest keeping more than 1 puffer to a tank here.

It's a no go I am afraid, you could well end up with 2 dead puffers. Just not worth the risk

other than it being messy, you will have your territorial disputes that doesn't normally end peacefully
You have the right to bear Puffers.
