African Cichlid substrate
I'm starting a 30 gallon aquarium for a red eye puffer. I know sand is the best substrate and it probably doesn't really matter as long as it's a fine sand. I was just curious and a little worried about using African cichlid mix sand, would the puffer like it?

Re: African Cichlid substrate
If its fine enough to dig around in they should be fine with it. I don't think red eyes bury too much so most substrates should be fine.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
