I say the bigger the tank the better. A 10g would be the absolute min I would ever use for two. It is awesome to see these little guys move aroud and do the feed me dance when they have extra room. I have four in a 29g and I can'it imagine keeping them in anything smaller. In fact, they may move up to a 46g and I may add two more to the mix.
