These are crappy pics, but I had to share because of the HUGE mess my puffers made today. Today I gave them the body of a crab, the part that is left over after they had eaten the legs.
well, I did not think there was that much meat....but there was and they made a huge mess.
The entire tank is covered in white speckles of crab meat, it looks like a snow globe exploded.White specks EVERYWHERE!
I guess some is, I buy raw. I make sure it says something to that affect, however I can be fooled. It can be tricky depending upon the season most that you find could be raw or it all can be cooked. Usually I'll ask the seafood department people.
I have a very hard time finding raw crayfish...the best I can do sometimes is lightly steamed.
It's Nova Scotia lobster season here and I want to buy a lobster(for the fish...) but I don't wanna kill it myself..can I ask my sea-food seller to do the deed??
A kiss on the hand may be quite continental
But puffers are a girl`s best friend.
