Fish Compatiblility

Hi all,

I'm new to marine tanks, fish keeping and most of all my gorgeous new blue spotted puffer fish. She (I think) is so nice and seems very happy in the tank, always plodding about, eating well and doesn't bother the matted file fish that is also in the tank.

I do however want to get another fish, I just don't know what to get. Initially I'd thought lion fish, but after reading reviews is a 'not a chance', thought about triggerfish but again don't think would mix.

Could anyone offer any other suggestions please?

My partner does have another tank in the house with clown fish, angel, tang, foxface, chromis, damsel, blenny, starfish, shrimp, snails etc so wanting something a bit different for my tank.

I saw a blue spotted puffer out portslade the other day and really wanted it lol. Puffers are tricky beasts to house other fish with. What tank size is he in?

It is a blue spotted Toby I hope? Not the big blue spotted puffer?

Oh, maybe it is a toby, it is about 3" long if that and from research I have done think grows to maybe 5".

The tank is 3ft x 2ft x 2ft and only has bit of live rock and a matted file fish in it.

When I get a pic I'll try to post it.

The tank is 3ft by 2ft by 2ft, puffer/toby is about 3" in size.
