feeding puffers

Do you feed live food to your puffer if so do you drop a bunch in at once say 5 crayfish or do you do one at a time?

Yea thats a tad much to do more than one. An mbu I can see chowing down 2-3 butnot a fahaka.

And yea live I do as well, it does not contradict my morality

Too little info... How much and how often to feed any given puffer is determined by the particular puffer, its size and age, and the size of the food being offered. Since none of that information was given, there is no possible answer.

Nothing to do with size more to deal with hunting inn nature a crayfish doesn't fall from the sky once a day the puffer has to hunt and find its food so I'm thinking of dropping in 5 crays a week and letting him hunt ill still feed a snail or mussel every couple days dependent on my puffers size I have aa 200 gallon tank with lots of hidding spots

Your puffer isn't living in "nature". In nature the prey has a better chance to hide and escape.

Sounds like a good potential to have a lot of uneaten flesh rotting in your tank. Even if your puff isn't hungry he may still take the easy oportunity to take a bite leaving the rest to either suffer or die and rot.

Once again what kind of puffer is it? Maybe someone who knows the species can give some more in depth advice. Afterall that was why the thread was created.
There are many knowledgeable fish keepers on this forum willing to help and give great advice...The advice is free; What you choose to do with it gives it value.

+ 1 plus in nature a full puffer will unlikely sit in a closed area with pinchey food.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Not beating you up lol. Dump in a load of snails about the size of his eye so he can spend all day tracking them whilst they help consume waste
