Food for GSP

Hello everybody,
I've my GSP of 3 years old in my 125l acquarium. Do everybody has just tried to feed a GSP with PROCAMBARUS clarkii? My idea was to take a couple of this crayfish and take care of them in the same tank of the puffer. Could my puffer be in danger smimming with them?

I do not suggest keeping puffers & crays together, unless you pull off their large claws. Also, a 3 year old GSP should be either in high-end BW or SW by now. That cray is a FW species. It would be quite uncomfortable in those salty conditions. Here is more info on your puffer & feeding:

Yes i breed him in BW with a 1008 of salinity and a very hard water. The salinity is a little low but with this conditions i can take care of the puffer, plants, 1 gyrinocheilus and some lebistes (good live food for my tetraodon). I red that this kind of cray is very resistant and the proof is that is becoming easy to find into italian rivers (in winter temperatures arrives near 0°C). In the conditions of my tank i think they could survive and reproducts.
Reading some articles i found that are very active in reproduction and so they could be usefull with babies that will became easy live food, but if they could became a danger for my puffer i think i'll leave this idea...

Please do your other fish a favor & remove them. Neither species are happy in BW & the lebistes will have their long fins nipped relentlessly! I'd start raising the SG much higher at this point. 1.018 would be good. Consider making this a marine tank.

Its never a good idea to breed food in the same tank. I would be more worried about the crays being snacks then them pinching the puffer. Furthermore, though they may have a hard exoskeleton, they will be in deep trouble when they molt.

And are crays excellent escape artists like crabs??
