Hey everyone,
I have a 40 breeder tank and I'm thinking a hairy puffer might be a good fit for me. I've read they are not very active, and I was hoping to see if anyone had any personal experience with them. According to PufferPedia they get 7 inches, and I wanted to make sure the 18" width of my tank would be enough for them as well. Anyone have any experience with Hairy puffers, and would you advise someone to keep one with a 40 breeder that is relatively well planted.
Also hoping to get some feedback on how active I could expect one to be. I realize they're lurkers, but would one recognize me as the food bringer and swim to the front of the tank, or are they basically aquatic logs?

Pretty much like a floating turd. 
It'll love the plants--that's it's natural habitat. A cave would be nice for it, too. 40 breeder should be perfect!
My suvattii pretty much stays buried, unless he's hungry. then I'll see him swimming around looking for food.
