I have also read through and am keeping up with a thread on I believe its Reef Central regarding the WP40 as well.

I think I'm going to see how the Koralias work on in the 90g first to get a better idea of what I need/want for the tank before buying anything else. I'm pretty certain I'll need more flow though.

The upgrade got delayed a bit again. I had hoped to get things switched over this weekend since I was off from work, I work ten days and then off four. However, my grandmother passed away last week so it just hasn't been the best time for much of anything. That would be why I hadn't exactly been around the last little bit and that there weren't exactly any upgrades/questions.

If I can get things together, someone to help, before my days off to where I'd have the time to get it all done I'd like to get thing switched over. It'd be nice to get the 90g out of my kitchen. If not, then I'll get it done on my next set of days off from work, 28th-31th.

I plan to get all of the live rock I got off of the seller from Craigslist into one container and begin curing. I'm not sure how much curing it may need but I need to get it in where I can add a heater and powerhead before I'd feel comfortable even with testing the levels.

Also hope you get your kitchen back soon. Was gonna suggest curing your rock in the 90 but from what I remember space is a bit of an issue?

Thank you both. This has been the first time I've really ever dealt with a death of anyone that I was actually close to. We did know it was coming because she was diagnosed to be in kidney failure back in December, she held on much longer than the doctors had predicted. It was both her age and medication she was on that caused the issues with her kidneys, according to her doctor. She had a long life at 94 years old and has always lived in this area where I have grew up as well allowing us to become very close, all of which I am very thankful for.



Anyway, sorry about that, back to topic now.

I do plan on moving the sand over from the 60g to the 90g when the switch over does take place. Now I've never done anything of the sort, upgraded tanks/moved sand/etc, and got to thinking about actually moving the sand over. I'm not sure on what the best way to do this is and any tips for this or just switching to another tank is general is appreciated.

The tank definitely is not in a good spot right now, mainly because of the size of the kitchen and such, but it hasn't made things any more difficult really. Where the 90g is sitting is just where I usually keep the dogs' dishes at so they're out of place.

If I was setting up the 90g in a different location than the 60g than I would do that but I don't want to fill it with saltwater where it stands. I would just have to move all of that water out and leave the 90g where it is sitting for longer than planned.

I bought a few tubs for the moving process and I believe one will hold all of the live rock I got from the seller off of Craigslist. The rock is currently setting in two 5 gallon buckets. I want to get the rock in one of the tubs since it would allow for more space which would better the circulation.

I have to see what all I have in terms of the heaters and powerheads to know if I can go ahead and do this or if I need to wait until after everything is moved into the 90g. I'm not sure how many heater and powerheads, or containers, I'll have to set up to hold the fish, corals, and rocks during the move over. I plan to use the water from the 60g, or most at least, combined with water I already have mixed in a Brute and want to be sure I have enough container, heaters, and such to hold the water as well.

Still no updates on the 90g really. I still need to get the plumbing situated in the overflow to quiet it down before I'd want it up and running. I basically just need to get to Lowes and double check what I need. Thinking about getting what I need to just do this:

Anyway, I took a few pictures and wanted to share.

Happy to say my puffer has gotten better at eating and now even eats the marine algae sheets I clip in the tank on the days I feed.

These are not the best with the lighting being most of the issue here I believe but I just had to get some photos of her eating the algae. It surprised me honestly.

Recently moved this one and it seems happier, more polyps extended than it had in a while. Think it may be a bit bigger than when I first got it as well.



Toadstool is definitely happier than when I added it to the tank and in comparison to the only photo I had posted of it.

I'm so happy that the torch and frogspawn have been doing well, after what happened to the hammer especially. Not to mention the way the ricordeas had reacted before, when they weren't opening/etc, and now they're out fully every day but do shrink up at night. Such a big difference in size!

The only coral that is worrying me at the moment is the wellso, of course it would be my favorite and most expensive. It hasn't been inflating as much as I know it can, hopefully its just going through some sort of phase and its nothing serious.

Everything else is doing great though, both fish and corals from what I can see.

Haha, thank you! I get excited seeing everything doing well and will definitely continue to share, I enjoy it! As I've said before, I look forward to seeing yours, especially when you begin stocking.
