Puffer not here

Post by purplecandle »

Puffer supposed to be here today. Got tracking number yesterday. Fine. USPS website said pick up at Mar 4, couple hours later changed to Mar 5 couple hours later changed to FEBRUARY 5. Shipping method changed from express to priority. Paid for next day.

Call USPS..they insisted no dates or numbers had changed and that it had been a month and I should get my money back. No it has not been a month I said, I just ordered the other day....they just kept acting like I was crazy.

Sent message to seller....he said..."when I get home from SCHOOL, I'll go to the post office. They have delayed all of my shipments the past few weeks".......I hope he means college....i don't get it he has great feedback for aquatics

I don't know is going on but I am really :censored: :censored: off.

Funny thing is I ordered snails yesterday from a different seller for the silus...and they are almost here!

Anybody got any advice?

Wow, thats crazy! I'd be upset to.

I've never had any issues with a delivery like that. Just had them delayed due to weather.

I hope things gets sorted out and your puffer makes it to you in good health!

Ok there is still a little hope. The seller says he went to the post office and the usps had drop some liquid on the label and they did not know who the package belonged to and they also made a mistake on the shipping. So he took the fish home and will reship tomorrow. Hopefully he is telling the truth! There is another tracking number on my account now.

If he is telling truth, I glad he took the puffer home and didn't try to resend him right away.

Poor fish, it's mad how things like this can happen. They had the tracking number and all
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

@ defool- love the new avatar....murderface is looking good!

I got a new tracking number, but I am not seeing any movement yet, no manifest ack. I'm gonna keep the faith, the sellar does have good feed back and he has shipped puffers before. I am just really upset with usps, I already do not like them. Most of the time I have to go pick up my packages as they tend to not deliver them.

Good news, the snails are almost here! I had some snails (pond) but not enough for a silus so I ordered 100 ramshorns. I've always had better luck with ramshorns vs pond. I'm setting up a 20 for them.

Ok, the puffer was shipped yesterday and should be here today... cross your fingers for me ;)

Forgot to add... the sellar seemed happy to be rid of him...apparently the puffer chewed through a few tank mates. Seller said, that he was a nice fish, but he took up too much room and he wasn't able to put him with any other fish  So, that is why the price was best offer!

It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.
