Awesome! Crazy puffer kept puffing though! You would think it would have figured out that the diver was not a threat but was merely trying to help.
WARNING: Puffers are mischievous little blimps with enchanting powers. You may not be content with having just one.

I'm not sure I'd credit puffers with that level of intelligence. Whales and dolphins, yes (I've seen videos where they appear to understand humans are assisting them, such as when they're tangled in nets). But puffers? I just don't think so, as much as we may love them.sgtmyers88 wrote:Awesome! Crazy puffer kept puffing though! Yo ho, yo ho, a puffer's life for me.

He didn't puff all that much--I think he understood.

Re: Diver Saves Puffer from Hook
A hook should not be pulled out IME. It causes more harm than good.
I hope the puffer will heal up without any infections. Its better than having a hook in the mouth though.

Re: Diver Saves Puffer from Hook
It's nice to see a diver that cares, most of the diver vids on you tube show divers messing/ deliberately upsetting fish. I noticed he was careful with his fingers, he must know what lurks beneath those rubber lips lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
