Thank you to bertie and you defool. It was bound to happen soon, she was in her mid 80's with health issues. Just didnt expect it to happen so soon. Something started bleeding internally all the sudden and they couldnt figure it out before she passed. She was in a induced coma so atleast she went peacefully and painlessly.

There are no words I can say which will help take the pain away. I'm glad there was no pain, that must be a small comfort and my thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time. Sorry for your loss

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It really means alot. I was able to get my mother under control with this, so thats a good thing. My grandfather is taking it hard. They have been married for 65 years. My mom is gonna go take care of him through this.

on a good note, after the 80% waterchange, my ammonia and nitrite levels subsided to 0ppm. And has held up since then. I checked this morning. Hopefully it stays stable and means i am almost complete with cycling and not halted. I will check again after work to see.

little guy is settling nice in his tank. he has stopped pacing and comes to the front when i come. he has been having a hardtime catching the ghost shrimp.lol he will eventually get one.
