Need some Valentini puffer info

Post by Gooburz »

I've come across these guys and would like to get as much info on them as possible, I know looking in google for "Valentini puffer" is probably useless so I wanted to ask the experts on them and keeping them, tank size, tank mates (if possible), just general info please and thank you!

Thanks for the fast reply PP. A good friend of mine just started up a 40gal breeder about a month ago and saw this puffer and really liked the markings on it so I told him about this site and he has been reading up a lot but is too lazy to register lol. Anyways his fish arrives tomorrow so if he doesn't get an account up and running on here I will keep you all posted for sure on how the puffer does as far as died/feeding, behavior, etc. He has kept saltwater reef tanks for years but this is his first puffer fish so he has done his homework and i'm sure the fish will have a good home. Can't wait for him or I to post up some pics of his new home and his/her progress!

I've had my Fiji orangetail toby for almost 2 years now in a 40 gal breeder and she's done just fine in it.
