Community tank species

I'm guessing no but are any smaller species suitable for a community tank? Not even the Red Eye?

Shouldn't really keep multiple fish with puffers they are a huge mess by themselves. I do have sone fish and if i wasnt so attached id give em away. If you are determined to find tankmates i would just go with anything not agressive, no cichlids or oscars for one will die for sure ... a bite from a puffer is most certain death. Get timid to semi aggressive species that are quick so they can escape pending doom that round. But puffers have amazing stalking abilities with amazing bursts of speed. Its only a matter of time till fish start "disappearing "

+1 to all above, if you want a community tank, stop looking at puffers lol. They're great by themselves though, so if you're that interested in puffers, try a species only tank. I have my F8 with some bbgs, but I don't count on them being there always as a certainty. Puffers can, and will, kill. They're predators, that's what they do. If you're brave enough to try puffers with other fish, F8s, DPs, and SAPs are known to be the most docile, but even then temperament varies between individuals.
