Golden puffer?

Can anyone tell me what kind of puffer this is, and what kind of tank conditions it requires? ph?, salinity?,fish it can be with..anything. I think it might be called a "golden puffer" but I don't know.

Its called a Gold Sabo Puffer at our LFS.

I believe it is a Golden Puffer, also called a Guinea Fowl Puffer. Arothron meleagris. They change colours dramatically as they age. See here: http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/vie ... =meleagris.

i agree with LL, looks just like an A.meleagris that ive seen before. very stunning puffer.

so its NOT a golden dog face puffer then? I was trying to look on-line to find out myself, and I read somewhere they say they look very similar but aren't the same kind.

Like I said, I think it's an Arothron meleagris, not a golder dog-face.

Arothron melaegris indeed.
If I remember correctly the difference between A. melaegris and Golden Dog-Face is that the latter has a dark "mask" and that it will possibly go through a change of colour as it matures.
